Beyonce Haircut 2013 [PHOTOS BELOW]: The famed singer's edgy pixie haircut seems to have already disappeared after facing a barrage of criticisms from both fans and hair stylists.

Beyonce Pixie haircut 2013 had its debut via Instagram wherein fans shared their opinions on her short locks. Many predicted that it would be a trend yet many were likewise dismayed for the performer's decision to throw away her signature look.

However, Rita Hazan, a celebrity hair stylist who has been hired by Queen B for a year, revealed the reason for the sudden mane transformation:

"I think she was just feeling empowered, like a strong women and she said she's been feeling it for a long time. She didn't want to hide behind her hair in real life," Hazan said.

The only question is: "Why she changed it AGAIN?"

Since her Destiny's Child days, the 31-year-old entertainer has been known for her long "lion" mane. Her entourage claims that she is still adjusting to her new look.

For her 2013 V Festival performance last August 17, the "Halo" singer mandated her team to bring a suitcase filled with 40 different wigs and hairpieces because she was worried that she wouldn't feel herself on stage. She came out wearing a new longer "bob-do".

According to Beyonce's choreographer, Queen B's performance has affected her "on-stage hair flipping" and "dance moves", as reported by Hollywood Life.

The choreographer further added, "She can still move [her hair] and swing it... And you can always make it fit with what you're doing... It doesn't hurt her performance. It actually makes her perform even harder!"
