Samsung Galaxy Phone 2013: Manufacturer's Golden Android Phone Announced Ahead of Apple's iPhone 5S

Just weeks before Apple unveils its latest phones, Samsung has already announced an android flip phone to give the iPhone models a good fight.

The Korean manufacturer announced the Samsung Galaxy Golden, an android flip phone that has two 3.7-inch screens and packed with the latest Android OS. According to SammyHub, the flip phone that has been rumored for several months now also packs a 1.7Ghz dual core processor, 8MP primary snapper and 1.3MP front camera for photography buffs.

The android flip phone also has LTE support, a decent 1,820 mAh battery and Android 4.2 Jellybean out of the box.

However, the feature that gives the most impact to the new Samsung phone is its 'champagne golden' color. Sounds familiar right? Well, that's because Apple has also been rumored to be releasing their iPhone 5S with the same color, aside from the old favorites white and black. Was it just coincidence or is Samsung really picking up a fight?

Unfortunately for Apple, they won't be able to file any suits because apparently they do not have the patent for the 'champagne gold' color. Let us just see what the U.S. company will do to once again shift the world's focus on their upcoming phones.

The Samsung Galaxy Golden has already been set to launch in South Korea, though there has not been any updates yet whether the company plans to release the phone overseas.
