Technology News 2013: Manufacturer Rumored To Use Best Buy For Google Glass Sales

The Google Glass is unlike any device developed before - it allows you to do everything a smartphone does even without your smartphone. And tech lovers all around the world are expecting for its consumer mass sales release early next year.

But because of the expected reception from consumers, Google is reportedly renting dedicated spaces in Best Buy outlets just to make sure they can accommodate plenty of customers. According to BGR's sources, "Google is renting 6,000 square feet inside every Best Buy next year" in order to fully present and showcase the product's features to consumers and buyers.

Dedicated store spaces for big brands such as Apple and Samsung have been a commonplace, especially in Best Buy outlets, but another space specifically dedicated to sell Google Glass is certainly news. It seems Google is pretty confident that its upcoming revolutionary device will be embraced and sold out the moment they come on the shelves.

While the whole world is waiting, Google has released several hundreds of these units for developers and tech bloggers who were willing to pay $1,500 for the product. Named the Google Glass Explorer, this prototype has been sold to buyers through a lottery pick method.

We don't expect the company to release the Google Glass with the same price tag, as it would cost people their entire savings accounts just to have one. However, some reports say that it would slightly have a cheaper price tag.
