Nexus 10 2 Release Date Set As Early As Next Month? New Google Tablet Arriving With LTE Network Support And Possibly A MicroSD Slot

The Nexus 10 2 release date seems to be already on the horizon as more and more rumors about it fly around the mobile industry.

There are claims that Nexus 10 2 release date will align with the launch of Google's newest OS, the Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. However, Even though there have been a number of Nexus 10 2 release date rumors going on, Google is still not giving out any official words about it.

But previously, Sundar Pichai hinted about Nexus 10 2 release date, saying that it would arrive in the 'near future.' Emir Efrait of Wall Street Journal posted a tweet about Nexus 10 2 release date and it reads, "Expect to see new 10-inch Nexus 10 Android tablet (made by @Samsung) in the near future, Google's @sundarpichai tells me."

The earliest possible Nexus 10 2 release date, as reported by Christian Today, is at some point in September, since the IFA 2013 technology showcase is set to happen next month in Berlin. Reports also said that Samsung will create the Nexus 10 2 in time for the holiday season.

Tech enthusiasts were also excited about the improvements that will be made for Nexus 10 2 since it was not as successful in the market ascompared to Google Nexus 7. There were speculations that it will feature some design improvements like an 8.9mm frame to reduce the tablet's weight and size. There were also rumors that it will come with a MicroSD slot. It can be noted that Nexus designs made headlines for not including expandable storage option.

Nexus 10 is also expected to have LTE network support, similar to Nexus 7 2, which already came with LTE capacity.
