‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 4 Casting Spoilers: Joseph Gatt To Play Styr, Magnar of Thenn? ‘Banshee’ Actor Gives Hint On Twitter; Will He Play War Chief Of Wildlings?

"Game of Thrones" season 4 will welcome a new actor to its cast: Joseph Gatt. The new spoiler circulating around "Game of Thrones" news is that Joseph Gatt, star of "Banshee," will join the cast, HBO confirmed. But who will he play? Gatt gave a hint on his Twitter.

"Game of Thrones" season 4 will include British actor Joseph Gatt, Malta Today reports, according to CraveOnline.com.

Speculation on casting spoilers say that Gatt could play Styr, Magnar of Thenn, who is one of the war chiefs in Mance Rayder's Wildling army, CraveOnline.com reports. Styr is described in George R.R. Martin's novel as tall, imposing and hairless, which fits Gatt's physique quite well, the website notes.

SheKnows.com gives more information on Styr's role in "Game of Thrones," which further proves that Gatt could be playing that character.

Styr leads the wildlings in an assault on Castle Black, where the Night's Watch lives on The Wall, the website reports.

Interestingly, all "Game of Thrones" scenes that take place "beyond the Wall" are shot in Iceland. And guess who recently posted a note on their Twitter account about being in Iceland?

Joseph Gatt.

"Just had this for dinner #IcelandicDelicacy #WouldRatherRideItThanEatIt #OnceWasEnough =)," Gatt tweeted on July 23.

Also, The Hollywood Reporter notes that Martin has previously said Styr will have a role in season 4, as well as other new characters Mace Tyrell (father of Margaery and Loras) and Oberyn Martell (better known as the red Viper - a man with a vendetta against the Lannisters).

But the latter two roles have already been cast, with Roger Ashton-Griffiths taking on Mace Tyrell and The Red Viper going to "Graceland" actor Pedro Pascal.

This leaves the character Styr open for Gatt.

"Game of Thrones" Season 4 will premiere on HBO in Spring 2014.
