Brian Wilson Beard 2013: 'Taking It To The Grave,' Says No To $1 Million Offer To Let Go Of His Gimmick

Brian Wilson beard 2013:  A report that the two-time World Series champion would be paid to shave his beard for $1 million dollars. The L.A. Dodger pitcher said he's "taking the beard to his grave."

Once clean-shaven, Brian Wilson has made a gimmick of his beard that it has become his signature. While with the San Francisco Giants, he grew out the beard while the team was on its way to a World Series championship in 2010.

Four years later and the man, who is rarely seen on the mound anymore due to injuries, will not let go of the beard. It has become a part of him. Brian Wilson is no longer a closer and now in the bullpen of the Dodgers.

"I DON'T CARE HOW MUCH MONEY'S ON THE TABLE ... NOBODY'S CUTTING ME!" Wilson said in a statement he released.

He was offered $1 million to shave the beard from 800razors.com, which he has declined.

800Razors.com has been in negotiations with the 31-year-old baseball pro to have him shave off his beard and they've offered him a lucrative 7-figure deal, which would also have Brian become a brand ambassador for the company.

"His management feels we need to match his present salary of $1 million at a minimum," Co-Founder and President of 800Razors.com Philip Masiello told Radar.

He has developed a career off the field. Wilson was a part of the ESPY's where he might have stolen the show with his wittiness. He once had a locally produced, self-filmed reality show called "Life of Brian." He has often been on The "Cheap Seats."
