While some celebrities came to win at the 2013 MTV VMAs others showed up to get "turnt up," making room for the most memorable quotes ever.

When Ryan Lewis and Macklemore won the "Best Hip-Hop Video" award against runners up like Drake and Kendrick Lamar, they gave rise to the age of the independent artist. Then Macklemore shut down all those gay rumors by introducing the world to his wifey.

"They let some independent hip-hop artists up here at the VMAs. We started out with an idea with a flag that represented our journey," said Macklemore. "Shout out to my fiance Tricia Davis."

Then when Taylor Swift hit the stage to accept her award in the "Best Female Video" category for "I Knew You Were Trouble," she made sure to keep the public wondering if the song was about her ex-boyfriend and One Direction crooner Harry Styles.

"I want to thank the person who inspired this song and he knows exactly who he is because now I got one of these [Moon Man]," said Swift right before the camera man zoomed in on Styles.

Macklemore had another amazing quote of the VMAs when facing the mic with his partner Ryan Lewis for a second time around to accept the "Best Video With A Social Message" award for "Same Love."

"This moon man right here stands for a lot more," said Macklemore. "This is the most important record out of all of them. Gay rights are human rights, there is no separation."

The main man of the night, Justin Timberlake, dedicated his "Video Vanguard" award to his N'SYNC bandmates just after bringing them all back together on stage for a split second.

"Half of the moon man I ever won I won with those four guys over there," said Timberlake. "We can keep it at my house but I'm going to share it with them."

Justin had another sincere moment at the VMAs when honoring his grandma and late grandfather as he accepted the "Video Of The Year" award for "Mirrors."

"My grandfather passed away in December. This is for you granny," said Timberlake.

Despite all the awesome acceptance speeches at the VMAs, Kevin Hart left the audience in stitches.

As the comedian was sent on stage to keep reminding people to vote for the "Artist To Watch" award, he used the opportunity to throw out some jabs and compliments toward VMA performers.

"Miley better go get a pregnancy test," said Hart following her attempt to twerk all over Robin Thicke during his "Blurred Lines" performance.

Unlike Miley Cyrus', the backside of Lady Gaga left Hart in astonishment at the VMAs.

"Lady Gaga got ass. I didn't know she had all that ass," said the funny man. "I'm about to walk by you and drop something just to put my face by your ass."

Hart somehow managed to also give credit to Timberlake while insulting N'SYNC at the same time.

"Justin Timberlake just killed it. Dude he just performed for twenty minutes," said Hart. "I know N'SYNC was pissed off because he only had them do one song. They were out of shape too. Joey farted. He farted."
