Lindsay Lohan and Kenny Powers Show? [VIDEO] Danny McBride Offers LiLo Top Spot On New Show; Oprah Interview and Documentary Helping Troubled The Canyons Star?

Lindsay Lohan on a new show for Danny McBride? After starring opposite Kenny Powers on Eastbound and Down, a new opportunity comes up for troubled star Lindsay Lohan.

Danny McBride was apparently impressed by Lindsay Lohan's cameo performance on Eastbound and Down, which lead to him offering her the role on his new show.  TMZ reported: "Danny was so impressed with her work he had several serious talks with her on set about a new show. He wants her to star in it."

"Our sources say Lindsay loves the idea and is hoping it works out."

Lindsay has wrapped filming for her role on the fourth and final season of Eastbound and Down.  Danny McBride plays Kenny Powers, a washed-up baseball player.  Lindsay has done some of her best work in comedies, including Mean Girls, the Parent Trap and Freaky Friday.  Playing opposite Kenny Powers in Eastbound and Down, and a possible new show with Danny McBride, seems like a natural fit for the star.

Maybe Danny McBride was also positively impressed by the honesty that Lindsay showed in her recent Oprah interview.  LiLo admitted to using cocaine 10-15 times and said: "I'm my own worst enemy and I know that." 

Lindsay Lohan's Oprah interview showed Lindsay's struggles and her commitment to the future: "I feel whole again, and I have such a desire to want to keep this feeling and stay this way, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes."

A stay in rehab for drug addiction has allowed Lindsay Lohan to get the mentorship of Oprah through an interview and documentary docuseries, and now she is getting the notice of Danny McBride, the man behind Kenny Powers.  Seems like things are looking up for the star who once struggled with drugs and alcohol.
