FIFA 14 Release Date And Price: Announced September 15? Ultimate Team App Sparks Launch Day Rumors

The web application for FIFA 14's Ultimate Team mode will be available starting Sept. 15, Polygon reports, leaving fans wondering if the game's release date for next-generation consoles will be announced then.

Ultimate Team users will be able to hop online and set up their squads in advance of the game's North American release date, which is Sept. 24 on Windows PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Polygon also reports.

New comments by EA Sports' David Rutter seem to suggest that this year's full-price instalment will again feature the FIFA 11 base gameplay with updated kits and rosters, CVG reports.

"There will be a Vita version, and it'll be the same great gameplay," Rutter told Eurogamer at Gamescom. Asked whether that means it's the same gameplay that appeared in previous Vita instalments, Rutter confirmed: "It's the same great gameplay and new kits."

FIFA 14 for Vita is developed separately by an EA studio in Romania, CVG also reports.

The FIFA 14 demo releases on PC and Xbox 360 on 10th September worldwide, and on PlayStation 3 on 11th September in Europe and on 10th September in North America, EA Sports has announced, EuroGamer reports.
