iPad 5 Release Date Nears As Best Buy Offers Discounted Tablets; Fifth Generation Of Apple iOS 9.7 Inch Device Coming In Slate, Grey and Gold Colors?

Without any official confirmation yet from Apple, iPad 5 release date continue to be imminent as Best Buy begins its clearance sale for its iOS products.

According to a report from International Business Times regarding iPad 5 release date, Best Buy is hurrying to clear its inventory for iPad Mini and iPad 4, as it is now offering the Apple tablets in open-box conditions. iPad Mini and iPad 4 in open-box conditions are now offered with discounts of up to $50 off.

Open-box products, as defined by Best Buy, as the items that have been removed from their packaging as they may be display units or returned items. However, the condition of the products are "as good as the freshly-minted units and even better than the refurbished devices that Apple sells via its online store," as reported by Gotta Be Mobile.

A number of reports are claiming that iPad 5 release date may be set for early October, as hinted by Apple executives. As cited by International Business Times, Tim Cook, Apple CEO has hinted about a possible iPad 5 release date schedule with his statement, "Our teams are hard at work on some amazing new hardware, software, and services that we can't wait to introduce this fall and throughout 2014."

The iPad 5 release date slated at some time in fall 2013 was supported by another executive, the Apple CFO, Peter Oppenheimer, as he revealed that the Cupertino-based tech firm will have a very busy fall season because of their product's launching schedules. Oppenheimer added that he will reveal more details about their upcoming launches, which may possibly include the iPad 5 release date.

Moreover, rumors has it that the fifth generation of the iPad will arrive in three colors - slate, grey and gold, according to a report from Cross Map.  iPad 5 is also set to be equipped with A7 processor, 4G/LTE connection and storage capacity of up to 128 GB.
