Kingdom Hearts 3 Xbox One, PS4 Release Date News: Tetsuya Nomura Explains The Use Of Non-Realistic Graphics For Square Enix Adventure RPG

Official Kingdom Hearts 3 Xbox One, PS4 release date has still not been confirmed but some details are emerging regarding the adventure RPG.

Tetsuya Nomura, game director of Kingdom Hearts 3, set to arrive on Xbox One and PS4, explained why the team developer chose to utilize non-realistic graphics in creating the game. Nomura shared that there were talks about making the graphics for Kingdom Hearts 3 for Xbox One and PS4 more lifelike, but they decided to use a "cartoon look to emulate the feel of brush painting in Disney works," as reported by Tekrieg.

Kingdom Hearts 3, Xbox One and PS4 versions, will be the first video game in the hit Square Enix "that has been developed just of the HD consoles." Kingdom Hearts 3 is in its early stages of development at the Osaka branch of Square Enix.

Previous rumors suggesting that Kingdom Hearts 3 Xbox One, PS4 release date will be set for Spring 2014 but a post from Square Enix Origins refuted this rumor. It reads, "There is absolutely no way Kingdom Hearts 3 will be released in 2014 due to the fact that it is in extremely early stages of development." Furthermore, Nomura is also busy with Final Fantasy XV, a game that "he wanted to create for the longest time."

Kingdom Hearts 3 PS4, Xbox One release date does not have a definite timeframe yet but it is already available for pre-order in Amazon. Alongside other popular Square Enix game like Final Fantasy XV, Kingdom Hearts 3 was also present during Gamescom 2013.
