Paris Jackson Recovery Update: Paris Jackson is "doing much better", according to grandmother Katherine Jackson. Michael Jackson's daughter Paris has struggled with life since her father's death of a drug overdose, and has been in treatment for a recent suicide attempt.
Katherine Jackson, the matriarch of the Jackson family, says "She is in a good place" and "getting the help she needs." In an interview with Hello! Magazine, Katherine says Paris Jackson is "doing much better" and her treatment is "going good, really good."
Katherine also said this about Paris Jackson: "She's my baby. It's hard for me, really hard. All I wanted these kids to be is happy. The night [Michael Jackson] died Paris was crying and said 'I want to go and see Daddy, I don't want to be without him.'"

Michael Jackson's daughter Paris was fairly sheltered, according to grandmom Katherine: "They were sheltered a lot when Michael raised them. I had thought about it and I said 'I am not going to raise them like that. But Michael had a good reason. He was trying to protect them...He instilled good manners but it's a different generation, of course, and I don't understand the whole social media thing. They are always on their phones."
Paris Jackson's mom Debbie Rowe has also talked about Paris' time in treatment: "My daughter has asked that I extend a huge thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers and support," Rowe wrote. "She is strong like her father."
Recently there had been some questions about Paris Jackson's treatment, and uncle Randy Jackson tweeted: "I just hate the fact that you [Paris] will probably still be there on my brother's birthday." Randy also said, "She is not psychotic. There is no reason for her to be in a psychiatric hospital this long away from her family."
TMZ claims that a source told them Debbie Rowe said, "As usual, he's grossly misinformed. He doesn't know what he's talking about. He has no idea where she is. She's not in a psychiatric hospital."
Paris Jackson photos were released of her at the residential facility. A source went to Radar to describe her treatment: "Like every school, this venue has a curriculum that students undertake. The students also undergo group therapy and one-on-one sessions with therapists each day."
The source also said: "She has been doing very well. She is very high in spirits."
"She hasn't sailed through this crisis but she is doing much better and with the help of those around her at the school, she's on the mend.
"Paris is relieved she survived the suicide attempt. She really did cheat death."
It sounds like Paris Jackson in on the mend!
