FIFA 14 Release Date And Price: Free With Xbox One? Microsoft Announces Copies Of Next-Generation Consoles With EA Sports Game

Microsoft said last week that every Xbox One sold at launch in Europe will come bundled with a free copy of FIFA 14, CVG reports.

A FIFA 14 demo will launch on September 10 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, ahead of the FIFA 14 release date of September 24 in North America and September 27 throughout Europe - Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game will be available when the consoles launch in November, CVG also reports.

The web application for FIFA 14's Ultimate Team mode will be available beginning Sept. 15 and users will be able to hop online and set up their squads in advance of the game's North American release date.

New comments by EA Sports' David Rutter seem to suggest that this year's full-price installment will again feature the FIFA 11 base gameplay with updated kits and rosters, CVG writes.

"There will be a Vita version, and it'll be the same great gameplay," Rutter told Eurogamer at Gamescom. Asked whether that means it's the same gameplay that appeared in previous Vita instalments, Rutter confirmed: "It's the same great gameplay and new kits."
