Nokia Phones 2013: Finnish Manufacturer To Unveil Six Devices In Event, Lumias, Ashas, And A Tablet May Be Under Way

With the IFA event and Apple's unveiling over, next in line is the Nokia event set on October 22 in Abu Dhabi. Several tech blogs have reported that the manufacturer will unveil some of its last Nokia phones for 2013, and in a rather emotional note as it officially becomes private next year.

One of the stars of the show would certainly be the Nokia Lumia 1520, otherwise known as Bandit, which has been leaked and rumored for over a month now. A sleek-styled tablet is currently under way and would share the spotlight with the manufacturer's first 6" screen phone.

We are also expecting the Finns to unveil several entry level Ashas to continuously cater to their massive market on that particular price range.

In spite the usual Lumia and Asha releases, sources told The Verge that Nokia would also unveil some accessories which are considered "pretty special".

And if rumors are true about an Android-powered Lumia, then an announcement in October and a release before the holiday season is not entirely impossible.

We'll get you updated once further details have been confirmed.
