Lea Michele On Cory Monteith Death: 'Glee' Actress Gets Tribute Tattoo To Cherish The Memories Of Her Late Boyfriend

Since Cory Monteith's death last July 13, many people have wondered about the condition of his on-screen and real-life girlfriend, Lea Michele. After Monteith's abrupt death, the 27-year-old actress did not fail to wear her signature "Cory" necklace.

Apart from the trinket, 'Glee's' Rachel Berry chooses to immortalize her love for the actor by getting a new tattoo. While the tattoo is Michele's 15th, it is by far the one that carries the most meaning.

"It's in a private place, with Cory's initials in a black heart. It's something she did for herself and to always remember the love they shared," claims one of the couple's friends.

The cast of Glee is still feeling the loss of Monteith. It is yet unknown how the viewers will deal with the absence of his character, Finn Hudson.

In an interview with Jane Lynch, she recalled the loss of 'Glee' after Monteith's death: "Cory's one of the biggest hearts, was a real bright light. He was one of those guys that, you know, he knew he was breathing rarified air, the gifts that this wonderful show gave us. He was always aware that it was a gift and he was quite generous. He was one of those adventurous types of those people. I always admired how he would get up, you know, he would fly to Mexico, he'd throw parties for his friends. I don't think he left one day un-lived. He was a real bright light in our family and we've lost a really great guy."

The tribute episode for Monteith will be airing this October 10 with 'The Quarterback' as its title.
