Top Android Phones 2013: Samsung Announces Gold Galaxy S4 Clearly To Rival Apple's Own 'Golden' iPhone

Released in April, Samsung's Galaxy S4 is still one of the top Android phones in 2013 in spite the announcements made during the IFA event. However, the focus clearly shifted to Apple when it unveiled its gold-donned iPhone 5S, with CPU improvements and a fingerprint sensor for security. Now, the Korean manufacturer wants to reclaim the spotlight by announcing a golden Galaxy S4.

According to The Verge, Samsung has launched its own Gold Edition Galaxy S4. And if the iPhone 5S only has one 'champagne gold' color, the Galaxy S4 will have two variants - Gold Pink and Gold Brown.

The two 'golden' Samsung Galaxy S4's are already available in the United Arab Emirates, with a higher pricetag than the original one.
