Metal Gear Solid 5 Release Date News: Solid Snake Gets New Voice? New Trailer Reveals Kiefer Sutherland As Protagonist

Keith Sutherland, 24's lead actor, has been tasked with voice acting the Slithering Snake character, revealing the protagonist's new sound, UberGizmo.com reports.

Konami, the Metal Gear Solid 5's developer, released a nine-minute trailer headlining the game, revealing the opening to Ground Zeroes, the still unexplained 'prologue' to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Metro.com reports.

The developer has not announced the exact storyline of Ground Zeroes and has not given much information about it, but implies that it will be available before The Phantom Pain.

Among the features shown off in this new video is that there is still plenty of need to actually be quite sneaky when you are running through the missions, Examiner.com reports.

Two other trailers featuring Metal Gear Solid 5 gameplay were released last week at an event in Tokyo, where they were filmed.

While Konami has not announced an official release date for the game, it is expected to be available on next-generation consoles Playstation 4 and Xbox One by 2014.
