Selena Gomez, George Shelley Dating Rumors DENIED- Flew Union J Singer To Her Show, But Still Too Much Baggage From Justin Bieber Romance

Rumors that Selena Gomez and George Shelley are dating keep persisting...but a new report denies them.

Selena Gomez and Union J singer George Shelley supposedly are an item, and Selena and Shelley seem to have hooked up, at the least.

However, according to E News, Selena is single and the two are just friends.

"She isn't dating anyone. She was just having fun," a source said of the rumors about Shelley. "Although he definitely wanted to date her, she can't handle the baggage now."

The Justin Bieber baggage has still scarred Selena, apparently. The "Come and Get It" singer can't move on.

Actions speak louder than words, though. Selena Gomez flew Shelley and his band to open for her in Portugal on her "Stars Dance" tour.

The two allegedly hooked up and spent the night together...according to an unnamed source, so who knows if that's reputable.

"She invited all the Union J boys and some other members of her entourage to her room and they had a great time drinking and dancing," the insider said. "Selena and George were all over each other and things got very heated."

The source also said, "Everyone else left at 2 a.m. so they were able to spend the night together."

However, the rumors have also been denied by George's band mate J.J. Hamblett.  

J.J. told press: "They are just friends. It's not our place to discuss but they are friends and, obviously, George will say what he wants to say about the situation."

"She didn't get off stage until quite late," Hamblett added. "So we just went and she invited us all back to her hotel and we had a drink."
