iOS 7 Motion Sickness: Users Increasingly Report Nausea Triggered By Animations In New Apple iOS 7.

More and more Apple iOS 7 iPhone customers are reporting motion sickness due to animation effects in the new operating system.

The motion sickness symptoms are apparently being triggered by the animations in the new iPhone to accompany motions such as opening or closing an app.

Apple's new operating system creates an effect that the apps are zooming in and out of the screen-and it's making users physically sick, according to a growing number of customers running iOS 7.

As the icons jump in and out, customers get nauseous. One user said,

"The zoom animations everywhere on the new iOS 7 are literally making me nauseous and giving me a headache," the user said. "It's exactly how I used to get car sick if I tried to read in the car."

Although the zoom effect was present in past iOS systems, it is more intense in iOS 7. This is because it is now present when users open their app folders, which was not the case before.

Internet forums are abounding with people who agree that animations make them feel sick and trying to figure out how to disable them-however, at the present time, there is no way to turn the effect off.

One user decided to downgrade to iOS 6.

"I was in that same boat up until last Saturday," the user rposted. "Traded in my phone for a new one with iOS 6 on it and got off the boat to sick town."
