Mork and Buffy Team Up To Beat Down Alex P. Keaton; Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar’s `Crazy Ones’ Tops Michael J. Fox's TV Return With Help from Big Bang Theory and Kelly Clarkson

Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar's 'Crazy Ones' pulled in more than double the viewers of Michael J. Fox's TV Return With Help from Big Bang Theory and Kelly Clarkson.

Last night saw the return of three TV icons: Mork from Orc, Buffy and Alex P. Keaton. Not to mention Kelly Clarkson's return to TV.

Robin Williams, Michael J.  Fox and Sarah Michelle Gellar all premiered new shows last night. "The Crazy Ones" on CBS, which stars Robin Williams, at his improvisational best with Sarah Michelle Gellar as his daughter went head-to-head last night at 9 with "The Michael J. Fox Show" on NBC.

Robin Williams shot to national fame on the show "Mork and Mindy," Michael J. Fox became a fixture on TV as Alex P. Keaton on "Family Ties." Sarah Michelle Gellar caught the world's attention, and some undead villains, on Joss Wheedon's "Buffy The Vampire Slayer."

Robin Williams' "The Crazy Ones," with some help from guest-star, American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson and their lead-in, "The Big Bang Theory," slammed the biggest competition, "The Michael J. Fox Show."

"The Crazy Ones" and "The Michael J. Fox Show" won't be regularly scheduled against each other.

Nielsen says 15.6 million people watched the opening of "The Crazy Ones." That is more than double the 7.3 million viewers that tuned in to see "The Michael J, Fox Show."

Not this writer, though, I was stuck on the "Breaking Bad" marathon on AMC.
