O.J. Simpson Caught Stealing Cookie In Prison: Dozen Oatmeal Cookies Caught From Former Legendary Football Player, Inmates Laugh At Him

O.J. Simpson caught stealing cookies while in a Nevada prison, according to a report by Fox News Radio.

The former football-great who is currently in prison is serving a 33-year sentence for armed robbery at Lovelock Correctional Center in Pershing County. He might have wanting to satisfy his sweet tooth when O.J. Simpson was allegedly caught stealing cookies.

The report said he tried to steal cookies and sneak them into his cell after lunch. O.J. Simpson almost got away with it until a guard caught him as the guard noticed him he was hiding something under his prison clothes. In the report, he was caught with over a dozen oatmeal cookies.

"O.J. just stood there with a goofy grin on his face as the guard kept digging inside his shirt and throwing the cookies on the floor," a source told The National Enquirer.

Simpson's fellow inmates were reportedly on hand to witness what went down.

"When the guard started pulling cookies out of O.J.'s shirt, the other inmates started laughing so hard they nearly fell over," the insider told the Enquirer.

The six-time Pro Bowler and first running back to rush for over 2,000 yards in a season, now 66-years-old, was arrested in Las Vegas in September 2007. He was charged with numerous felonies, including armed robbery and kidnapping in relation to the armed theft of sports memorabilia. He was then sentenced to 33 years' imprisonment, the Nevada Parole Board recently granted Simpson parole on some charges related to the robbery, but ordered him held for the next four years.

Besides his pro career and a few appearances in different movies, including the Naked Gun flicks, his murder trial for his ex-wife Nicole Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman. He would eventually be acquitted while the whole world watched his trial, especially after he was being followed on national television by police in his White Ford Bronco.
