Official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Update For Samsung Galaxy S4 Arriving This October; Galaxy S3 And Note 2 To Receive Firmware Before December Ends

Official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update is expected to arrive in various Samsung Galaxy devices in the coming months.

International Business Times cited the timetable posted by a French telecom company, which reveals the release plans for the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update. The schedule claims that the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update is set to arrive in Samsung Galaxy S4 on October.

Meanwhile, the 2012 flagship devices, Samsung Galaxy S3 and Note 2 users will be receiving the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update by November or at the latest, before the end of December. The official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware can be accessed via the Samsung KIES or Over-The-Air (OTA).

To strengthen reports about the release of the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update, Samsung's president of strategic marketing for its mobile division confirmed some details about it. Lee Don-joo shared with Korea Times, as cited by Christian Post, "All functions of the Gear will be connected to the Galaxy S4 smartphone by next month and the connection will be expanded to Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 by the end of December."

To make Samsung Galaxy S4, Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 compatible with the new mobile product device, which is the Samsung Galaxy Gear, they need to be updated first with the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update. According to IB Times, Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition are the only devices which can be connected to the Samsung smart watch.
