Prince George’s Christening To Have A Special Tribute For Princess Diana PLUS Who Are The Possible Godparents Of The Royal Baby?

After the much-anticipated royal wedding of Prince William and Duchess of Cambridge Catherine Middleton comes the royal christening of their beloved son, Prince George. Instead of choosing Buckingham Palace where Prince William and his father, Prince Charles, were christened, the royal couple decided to move the affair at the Royal Chapel in St. James Palace - the same place where Princess Diana's casket was laid to rest for a week.

According to royal aids, the venue was "very much a personal choice".  "It's a very intimate venue and has a nice atmosphere. They are familiar with the other chapels, but this was the one that most appealed to them," claimed one insider.

The British Monarchy Heir described the delicate outfit which will be worn by Prince George: "A replica of the intricate lace and satin christening gown made for Queen Victoria's eldest daughter in 1841."

Spectators think that Prince William is very determined to keep his mother's memory alive in his family's milestones. When the eldest prince proposed to then-single Kate Middleton, he gifted his mother's engagement ring. Following the engagement, the couple had their wedding ceremony in the same place where the funeral of Princess Diana was held. With the birth of Prince George, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shows that Princess Diana is still in their hearts.

The palace has not yet announced the six persons that would stand as Prince George's godparents. Nonetheless, supporters of the royal couple are betting that Prince William's buddy Guy Pelly as well as Pippa Middleton will be chosen to have special roles in the intimate yet lavish ceremony.
