Pokemon X And Y Starters Evolutions Rumors [UPDATE]: Alleged Leaked Image Shows Final Froakie Evolution

Pokemon X and Y are just around the corner, and as review copies are reportedly being sent out, a slew of images and spoilers are being leaked that remain unconfirmed, but tantalizing.

Recently, a Pokemon X and Y leaker has posted images of what it claimed to be the final evolution of Froakie, Greninja.

This directly contradicts an earlier leak by an Italian game reviewer, who claimed that the final starters evolutions will be called Frogue, Chesknight, and Kyubixen.

What this means, most likely, is that at least one of these leaks is fake. However, given that this latest Pokemon X and Y leak has images attached, it is definitely more interesting to theorize about.

In addition to the starters evolutions, the leaker also posted images of a Pokemon called Hawlucha, a Flying/Fighting dual-type that knows a new move called Flying Press.

According to the leaker, XP is now much easier to earn as the entire party can share XP with the item EXP Share. This item will be found early in the game.

Another controversial rumor that is currently making waves around the web is that the new Pokedex will only introduce around 70 new Pokemon.

Many are hoping this rumor is fake, as the number seems incredibly low compared to new Pokemon introduced in previous generations.

"Only 70 new pokemon? Hope this info is fake because that's really disappointing," writes PokeTev on Pokejungle.

Check out the images at Pokejungle here. Do you think they are real? Or are these one in a series of fake leaks created by trolls?
