MLB Postseason Schedule Released: October Baseball Is Back After One Play-In Game Monday As Chase For World Series Trophy Begins

MLB postseason schedule released: October baseball is upon us and with the craziness of a one-game wild card has got even crazier thanks to a one-game playoff just to get into the postseason.

The MLB playoffs won't start until Tuesday with the Red vs. Pirates N.L. Wild Card matchup. The postseason schedule was released Sunday night even with the one-game playoff, which will be played Monday night in Texas. The winner of this game will meet the Cleveland Indians. From there, the winner would meet in the best-of-five series against the Red Sox.

The rest of the MLB postseason schedule shows that the games will mostly be aired on TBS, the MLB network and FOX. If the World Series goes to game-seven, it is scheduled to be played on Halloween.
