‘New Girl’ Season 3: Jess And Jamie Lee Curtis Play Hilarious Version Of Basketball In Season 2 Deleted Scene

"New Girl" season 3 airs on Tuesday, and while you wait for episode 3, check out this video of Jess (Zooey Deschanel) and her mother (Jamie Lee Curtis) play a hilarious version of basketball in a deleted scene from season 2 of "New Girl".

A new deleted scene from "New Girl" season 2 has surfaced as season 3 rolls out new episodes. This deleted scene features Jess and her mother, played by Jamie Lee Curtis, from the Thanksgiving episode of "New Girl" season 2.

Jess and her mom are no basketball pros; they start to shoot some hoops while using the "Little Women" defense, Zap2it describes.

This version of basketball is hilarious and crazy, and makes very little sense, but is extremely entertaining.

You should check out the video, because not only can you relive a moment where Zooey Deschanel, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Rob Reiner are in the same room together, but you can also watch Curtis doing impressions of the characters in the classic Louisa May Alcott book, "Little Women."

Though the girls completely disregard the rules of the game, Jess explains that this isn't really a problem: "Um, it's not real, Winston. We're also not in 'Little Women.'"

Hopefully in season 3, Jess will learn how to play basketball properly with a little help from Coach, played by Damon Wayans Jr., who is officially returning to "New Girl" for at least four episodes after starring in the pilot of the show.

Season 2 of "New Girl" is available on DVD Tuesday (Oct. 1). New episodes of Season 3 air Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on FOX.
