As the "Pretty Little Liars" season 5 premiere looms closer, spoilers on new characters have surfaced.

According to spoilers by E! Online, "Pretty Little Liars" season 5 episode 9 will see the appearance of new character Patrick, who is described as an attractive horseback riding instructor. Patrick will be joined by a surly nurse, yet unnamed.

Episode 9 will be titled "Scream for Me," according to spoilers.

Meanwhile, the cast of "Pretty Little Liars" are addressing the controversy surrounding a recent GQ magazine photoshoot.

Many who saw the final photos believe they were excessively photoshopped, and stars Troian Bellisario and Ashley Benson agree.

"This industry seems to invest more in perfection than in flaw. But flaw and individuality, to me, are what make a human being interesting, they make our stories worth telling," wrote Bellisario on Instagram.

Five months ago, Ashley Benson also addressed a promo poster done by ABC Family for "Pretty Little Liars" season 5.

"Our faces in this were from 4 years ago.....and we all look ridiculous. Way too much photo shop. We all have flaws. No one looks like this. It's not attractive," wrote Benson.

Meanwhile, spoilers confirm that Ezra will indeed live in "Pretty Little Liars" season 5, and will be released from the hospital by episode 6, given the photo that was uploaded by writer Jonell Lennon on Twitter.
