HBO Favorites Hit Amazon Prime; True Blood, Boardwalk Empire, Deadwood and Rome Available Now; What Are You Waiting for? Binge Watch

HBO favorites are now available on Amazon Prime. Last month Amazon and HBO announced a deal that would give Amazon Prime members access to HBO content without an HBO membership. As of Wednesday, Amazon Prime members can watch the full lineup of HBO shows, films, miniseries, documentaries, and specials at no extra cost.

Amazon.com announced a new deal that covers library programming that originally aired on HBO three or more years ago. The shows include HBO favorites likes of "The Sopranos," "The Wire," "Deadwood," "Rome," "Six Feet Under," "Eastbound & Down," "Enlightened" and "Flight of the Conchords." Later this year, HBO GO will also become available on Amazon Fire TV.

Amazon Prime members can stream HBO original programming, including HBO series, miniseries, movies, mini-movies, documentaries, specials and not-so specials at no additional cost to their membership in this exclusive deal.

According to the announcement, the streaming is unlimited for Prime members. Prime Instant Video will offer exclusive online-only subscription streaming service for"All seasons of revered classics such as The Sopranos, The Wire, Deadwood, Rome and Six Feet Under, and of recent favorites such as Eastbound & Down, Enlightened and Flight of the Conchords. Select seasons of current series such as True Blood, Boardwalk Empire and Treme. Epic miniseries, including Band of Brothers, The Pacific, John Adams, Parade's End and Angels in America. Hit original movies like Mary and Martha, Temple Grandin and You Don't Know Jack. Hilarious original comedy specials from Louis CK, Ellen DeGeneres, Lewis Black and Bill Maher. Amazon promises that they will continue to add more shows to Prime Instant Video in coming years. Shows like Girls, The Newsroom and Veep will be available to Prime members. Amazon Prime can be found at www.amazon.com/primeinstantvideo for anyone already feeling a craving.

In making the announcement, Brad Beale, Director of Digital Video Content Acquisition for Amazon, said "We're thrilled to deliver this collection of groundbreaking, beloved content from HBO to Amazon Prime members for unlimited streaming at no additional cost," said. "Given the number of customers who purchase these titles from Amazon, we know how much customers love these shows. We are excited to bring them to Prime members-we think they are going to love them, whether they are experiencing them for the first time or re-discovering them from the beginning."
