Denzel Washington Movie Trailer for `The Equalizer’ Hits The Net [VIDEO]

Denzel Washington's new movie "The Equalizer" is coming and it looks like Denzel is back in form, if a little more laid back. Laid back? He's running after the Russian mob. The Equalizer reunites Denzel Washington and Antoine Fuqua. The last time that Denzel Washington worked with Antoine Fuqua it worked out pretty good for the two of them.

Sony released the first trailer for "The Equalizer," Denzel Washington's new vehicle which also stars Chloe Grace Moretz. The new Denzel Washington movie also stars Melissa Leo. Denzel Washington plays a man with "possible military training" who takes on the Russian mob because of an innocent girl he barely knows.

"The Equalizer" trailer looks like an action packed care against time. It's a thriller and looks to be a surefire hit. Denzel Washington's "The Equalizer" is based on the 1980′s CBS show, also called The Equalizer.

The Equalizer was directed by Antoine Fuqua. Fuqua is best known for the movie Training Day, from 2001. Training Day also starred Denzel Washington. Denzel pulled a Best Actor Oscar Award for it.

Washington plays a reluctant vigilante in the movie. He's got some special ops skills, but he gets in trouble with the Russian mob after coming to the rescue of a young girl.

The TV series "The Equalizer" starred Edward Woodward. It ran for four season on CBS starting in 1985 and ended its run in 1989. The Eqalizer was a cult classic. It is best remembered for its score and its tag line: "Odds against you? Need help? Call the Equalizer."

The Equalizer is scheduled to hit theaters September 26th, 2014.
