Lisa Niemi Marries Jeweler Albert DePrisco; Patrick Swayze's Widow, Lisa Niemi, Finds Love Again

Lisa Niemi married jeweler Albert DePrisco yesterday in Palm Beach, Florida. Lisa Niemi was married to Patrick Swayze for nearly 34 years before the actor, who starred in "Ghost" with Whoopi Goldberg and "Dirty Dancing," died of pancreatic cancer. Niemi played the woman who went to Jennifer Grey's father, played by Jerry Orbach, for the abortion.

The actress and dancer got engaged to the jeweler back in December. Niemi and DePrisco were dating for over a year. Patrick Swayze passed away in 2009 from pancreatic cancer.

Niemi and DePrisco met through mutual friends. They had been dating for about a year and a half before DePrisco proposed on Christmas Eve.

The couple were married in an intimate ceremony at The Mar-a-Lago Club in front of more than 50 guests. Niemi  was resplendent in a Oscar de la Renta-designed wedding gown. She bought the gown at Casa de Novia in Houston. DePrisco, 58, wore a dinner jacket designed by Ermenegildo Zegna and custom slacks.

Lisa took to her website to say "They say that falling in love is wonderful. That sick feeling. The butterfly stomach, the rubbery legs, the diminished mental capacity. A feeling of being paralyzed, like some kind of speared fish, floating helplessly after a powerful sedative."

The couple was surrounded by roses and green/white hydrangeas. The music came from a string quartet that was put together by Niemi's nephew, Will, and his wife Heidi, both concert violinists. They played the best hits of Haydn and Mozart.

Niemi told People magazine "We wanted it fresh and happy."

Niemi told media outlets "I have some hilarious friends. I'm sure there will be some fun toasts. Later on we'll dance to everything from Michael Bublé and Steve Tyrell, to 70's classics, to current hits, with a big dash of romance thrown in."

Lisa spoke about the finding new love after losing Patrick, "But I have to say, as devastating as the loss of my husband has been, would I go back and start all over again with him, even knowing the tragedy that lay ahead? Yes. I would. A thousand times over."
