The Good Wife Star's Husband Passes Away: Season 6 Spoilers Confirm The Return Of Florrick Children, As Producers Talk Cary/Kalinda Sex Scene

As "The Good Wife" goes on hiatus before season 6, spoilers regarding the cast and characters have surfaced.

Although "The Good Wife" season 5 finale has Zach going off to college, spoilers by E! Online confirm that Alicia's children will continue to play a role on the series. However, it is uncertain whether Graham Phillips' character will return as a series regular in season 6.

Meanwhile, fans are still discussing the controversial sex scene between Kalinda and Cary, and the executive producers revealed that it became a matter of disagreement for everyone.

"It was very difficult. It’s probably the scene that had the most disagreement regarding the morality, the border that we walk up to. I don’t think we went to 'Game of Thrones' territory. I don’t think we crossed that line, but there’s an element of creeping up to the line," said Robert King to TVLine.

"But again, we didn’t want it to be as chancy as, 'Oh, this is getting close to rape' or anything like that. We wanted it to just play as the emotional give and take of two people who have given information about each other, and it’s coming out in odd ways."

Lastly, "The Good Wife" cast member Christine Baranski has suffered a tragic loss in the passing of her husband of 30 years.

TVLine reports that Matthew Cowles ("All My Children") passed away on May 22 at the age of 69.
