Lisa Edelstein Married; Kim Kardashian Not The Only Wedding This Weekend; House Star Lisa Edelson Ties The Knot With L.A. Artist

Lisa Edelstein Married: Kim Kardashian isn't the only new Hollywood bride this weekend. "House" actress Lisa Edelstein married artist Robert Russell in Los Angeles on Sunday.

People magazine reported that Lisa Edelstein and Robert exchanged gold wedding bands designed by jeweler Neil Lane this weekend.

The former Dr. Cuddy told ScreenRant.come recently, "We know each other really quite well now. We've been working together for over seven years, which in our line of work is like dog years - it's like 49 years. I really feel like our friendship as people - as we got to know each other better - this kind of intimacy between the characters was an easier thing to do than if it started with day one and just kind of jumped in and pretended to know each other. It's been great."

Lisa said chemistry doesn't happen with just anyone. Even on "House," she was able to act as if she was in love with a flawed character because it was played by Hugh Laurie. She said "If there's anybody that I would have to be intimate with on camera, I'd want to have it be someone I knew and trust as much as I do Hugh."

Edelstein turned 43 on May 21.

Edelstein is best known for playing Dr. Lisa Cuddy on the medical drama House for seven years. She left the show in 2011 and went on to appear on hit shows like The Good Wife, Elementary, Scandal, House of Lies, and Castle.

Edelstein will next be seen on Bravo's first-ever scripted series, Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce, whichis set to premiere in 2015.
