Super Time Force For Xbox One Tips: Unlocking different characters can be done as you play the game and you'll encounter new characters along the way.

For example, characters like Chloe and Commander Repeatski can be unlocked if you complete the level in Year 199X and after playing the final mission.

Melanie Gibson can be unlocked in Year 199X, located in chapter 2, where you'll encounter a huge tower. Instead of climbing the tower, there is a pit at the base and you have to kill all the creatures then the new character will be lowered.

Jef Leppard can also be unlocked in Year 198X, located in chapter 1. You would notice while you go along the way that a robot would fall from the sky. There is a cage behind a large gate. Rush to the robot when it falls and kill it before it kills Jef.

Super Hardcore Mode can be unlocked after defeating the last boss. A special mode will appear in the main menu select screen.

Playing the Super Hardcore mode would restart your campaign but all the characters you've unlocked in normal mode would carry over. There isn't really a special change in Super Hardcore mode. Its just the bosses would be harder to kill but everything else would remain the same.
