Battlefield Hardline Release Date Slated For Fall 2014; Unveiling On June 9 At E3! BF4 Support To Continue Even After Arrival Of Upcoming Title

EA and Visceral Games recently announced that Battlefield Hardline release date is set for fall 2014.

Battlefield Hardline, reportedly arriving to older and new game consoles - PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, now has an official release timeframe. The announcement regarding Battlefield Hardline release date was made by Steve Papoutsis on EA's official site.

Papoutsis, the Vice President of Visceral Games, shared on his post:

"On behalf of everyone at EA and Visceral Games, I'm fired up to confirm our next project - Battlefield Hardline.  The game launches this fall and it's a brand new series in the Battlefield franchise, set against the backdrop of a genre we all love - the war on crime and the battle between cops and criminals."

Last week, a gameplay trailer for Battlefield Hardline was leaked hinting that the multiplayer mode will include heist, blood money and rescue. Moreover, as described on Christian Today, the single player mode of Battlefield Hardline "revolves on a story about police corruption and drug cartel."

Moreover, game publisher EA also created a webpage for Battlefield Hardline which announces that the game's unveiling will happen at E3 2014. Particularly, the reveal for Battlefield Hardline is set to happen on June 9, 12:00 Pacific time.

As for other Battlefield updates, DICE, game developer of Battlefield 4 promised the fans of the game that the support for BF4 will still continue even after the release of Hardline.

The post from Karl Magnus Troedsson, DICE VP & Group GM

"...I want to be sure you all understand that introducing Hardline in no way means we're done working on Battlefield 4. Nothing could be further from the truth. The Visceral team is leading the development of Hardline, while the DICE team continues to drive BF4. We are committed to giving you the best BF4 experience possible."

The post specified that there will be a continued support for Battlefield 4 and an update to the game's netcode. The game developers are also planning to extend the Community Test Environment for the game.
