‘Sin City: A Dame To Kill For’ Eva Green Poster Banned For Being 'Too Sexy!' Former Bond Girl Also Credited With Sexiest Comic Book Movie Moment!

The promotion for "Sin City: A Dame To Kill For" is reaching fever pitch! For the Motion Picture Association of America, it got a little too hot. Eva Green, being THE dame to kill for, proved the point a little too well.

A movie poster of the French actress, with the cryptic caption "I've been especially bad" was deemed inappropriate for display.

The Guardian has the report:

"Officials at the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) have disapproved of the image due to "nudity - curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown," which seems an awfully specific complaint. We imagine someone at the MPAA spent a long afternoon with a magnifying glass figuring out exactly what was offensive about the poster.

Green appears in the poster wearing a revealing thin gown - to use the powerfully erotic words of the censor board, the poster was banned "for nudity - curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown."

That was a very graphic, detailed description. News.com Australia reported: "A spokesperson for the thriller's distributor Dimension Films declined to comment but it is thought executives will work with MPAA members to find a compromise, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six. We're into winter now, so perhaps a nice woolly cardigan for Ms Green."

Eva Green has always taken sexy roles, and the viewers are left wanting for more. Of course, the audience for "A Dame to Kill For" would not veer too far from the viewers of another film based on a Frank Miller graphic novel and I'm referring to "300: Rise of An Empire." That film also starred Eva Green as Artemisia.

The most memorable scene in that movie was the love scene between Artemisia and Themistocles (Sullivan Stapleton). It was also voted as the Sexiest Scene in a Comic Book Movie.

"Sin City: A Dame To Kill For" will be released on August 22, 2014.
