iOS 7.1.2 Release Date Happening Soon? Minor Update To Remove Email Encryption Glitch; iOS 8 Beta 1 Now Available!

Reports suggest that iOS 7.1.1 release date might happen soon as Apple is reportedly working on a minor update that will purge an email encryption glitch found from the iOS 7.1.

Previous rumors hinted that the iOS 7.1.2 release date might happen before the launch of the very first beta version of the iOS 8. However, the highly-anticipated iOS 8 beta 1 has already been released today for the developers and apparently the iOS 7.1.2 update is still nowhere to be found.

A report on Christian Post noted that the iOS 7.1.2 is expected to focus on bug fixes and some tweaks but most probably, it will not have a developer testing period, citing MacRumors.

According to MacRumors, they found some Apple devices running the iOS 7.1.2. However, the activity is still low, which most likely means that the update is still in its early stages of testing.

Particularly, the iOS 7.1.2 update will fix the email encryption issue.  Apple previously confirmed that they are aware of this problem and a fix for it will be included in a "future software update," which could probably be the rumored iOS 7.1.2.

The other issue experienced by iOS 7.1 users has something to do with the iMessage app. Reportedly, the iMessage glitch started from users "losing messages when they switch away from the iPhone to a different device and not having their phone numbers disassociated from iMessage." And according to latest updates, the iMessage issue has already gotten worse because of server problems.

Meanwhile, for users with iOS developer account, the first beta for the iOS 8 can now be accessed. This is alongside a new beta version of iTunes that will be required to install the iOS 8, as reported by BGR.
