Olivia Palermo Wedding Gown Consisted Of Sweater And Shorts! Socialite Confirms Her Union With Johannes Huebl

Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl wedding secretly took place in Bedford, New York. The civil union has been confirmed by the 28-year-old socialite on her website. Known for her elegant fashion choices, fans were stunned that the bride opted for an unconventional ensemble.

The Olivia Palermo wedding gown consisted of three Caroline Herrera pieces - a creamcashmere sweater, a pair of white shorts, and a tulle skirt with ostrich feathers. She donned a pair of blue Manolo Blahnik pumps for her footwear. Huebl, on the other hand, wore a white Marc Anthony Hamburg suit.

"We really wanted to keep this beautiful day very private and special to us and enjoyed the whole day with our family and two friends. Bedford is such an amazing and romantic countryside," penned the MTV star.

The bride provided further details regarding her wedding look: "I wanted the makeup to be light and fresh and more focused about the lashes while keeping the eyes clean. My hair was in an uncontrived ponytail, one of my favourite personal looks."

As per insiders, Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl initially planned to marry in St. Barts - the same place where the German model proposed last December. However, Huebl is allegedly experiencing visa conflicts which might prompt him to prematurely leave US.

"They were planning a big wedding in the fall, but Johannes left Wilhelmina Models last year, and he currently isn't with an agency, and was told he would have to leave the US in September," said one source to Page Six.

Palermo's parents were reportedly "unhappy" with the rush but decided they couldn't miss their daughter's big day. One insider likewise claims that the newlyweds are planning to have "something much large later on."

Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl have been together since 2008 after meeting at a movie premiere in New York.
