iPhone 6 Rumors: 'Actual' Design Of New Apple Smartphone Compared To iPhone 5s, Boasts More Rounded Corners

For the past months, we have seen and heard almost everything we can know about iPhone 6 rumors and how it could potentially change the face of the competition once it launches in September.

In a new report by GSM Arena, the upcoming Apple smartphone was spotted in a Japanese website which claims to have acquired insider details about the handset.

Japanese website Nikkei claims that it was able to get a hold of the actual design of the iPhone 6 and has compared it with the iPhone 5s.

As you can see in the image, the iPhone 6 will depart from the traditional iPhone design as far as edges and the overall design are concerned. The new Apple smartphone will get a more rounded look, which should make it easier to hold due to its bigger size.

The iPhone 6 phone is also significantly thinner than the current iPhone, which certainly a step forward in the right direction for Apple.

Other rumored specs of the upcoming iPhone 6 include a new Touch ID home button, a new A8 chip that supports 64-bit applications, iOS 8, and a sapphire glass.

The iPhone 6 is slated for launch on September 19, with a release date immediately afterwards.

During its launch last year, the iPhone 5s was already seen as a highly-anticipated device, with all the rumors and leaks filling the imagination of Apple fans. Unfortunately, most people were disappointed that the iPhone 5s was merely an improved iPhone 5 with a fingerprint sensor, which has been reported to eventually 'lose' stored data after a while.

However, this year is different as stated in Apple CEO Tim Cook's letter to his employees. Aside from getting a bigger 4.7-inch Apple iPhone 6, the first increase in display size since the iPhone 5 two years ago, there is also a rumored 5.5-inch model that is will Apple's first contender in the phablet category.
