K-Pop Storm Concert in Malaysia Postponed

In a press release shared with media partners, Happy Entertainment, Korean organizer of what was supposed to be the biggest concert in Malaysia to-date, was apologetic.  Refunds are offered to all who have purchased a ticket.

The Malaysia Twitter-verse went on full haywire after the said cancellation.  Speculations from media and audience alike are going around cyberspace.  Other media have reported that the said postponement and pull-out of a major sponsor was due to a breach of contract on the part of the organizer, having missed to reach the agreed-upon sales numbers prior to the date.

Below is an excerpt of the press release issued by the organizer to the media:

Due to internal disagreement between Korean Organizer Happy Entertainment and Malaysian-based Korean Radio Station WBS89.7, the latter party has decided to pullout from "WBS Concert: K-Pop Storm Live in Malaysia 2012".  The Korean Organizer Happy Entertainment decided to postpone the concert "K-Pop Storm Live In Malaysia‟ after much consideration.

The original schedule of K-Pop Storm Live in Malaysia on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach has to be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances that cannot be resolved on time. Details of the posptponed concert (including date, venue, line-up) will be announced by the Korean Organizer, Happy Entertainment after meeting and renegotiating with all parties including the schedule arrangement of the artists.

Happy Entertainment is really sorry to all the audiences and fans who had supported K-Pop Storm Live In Malaysia and has bought the tickets. Happy Entertainment will be responsible for full refund. Procedures, venue, date and time of refund for the purchased tickets shall be disclosed on the Official Facebook page:www.facebook.com/kpopstorm
