Actor Lee Min Ho received Asia's most popularity award in China.

Today Star Haus, his agency shared Lee Min Ho received "Best Popular Asian Actor Award" at the 12th China Fashion Awards in Suzhou, China on Friday. It was reported he was the only foreign star to win an award in the event, where other Chinese stars such as Cecilia Cheung and Rosamund Kwan attended.

The annual awards ceremony hosted by the Shanghai Media Group is to honor celebrities that contribute in various fields such as music, film, public service, sports and fashion. It is also recognized as one of the most influential awards in China.

Lee Min Ho became well known in China rising to stardom with leading roles in "Boys Over Flowers" in 2009 followed by "City Hunter" and "Great Doctor."
