Pokemon Happy Meal toys are part of the new collaboration between McDonalds and Pokemon.
Happy meal toys are of the most exciting things to look forward to because they are usually limited runs. Once the toys are no longer available, its not likely that McDonalds will produce them again.
“The Happy Meal program will feature eight Pokémon toys based on the loveable critters seen in Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire,” according to IGN. “Those eight figures include: Pikachu, Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, Lugia, Rayquaza, Mega Latios, and Wobbuffet.”
While the toys are enough to tickle any Pokemon lover’s fancy, buyers will also be getting one of 12 Pokemon Trading Card Game cards. However, the other cards that are included have not been mentioned at all.
Hardcore Gamer reported that the toys that come with the Happy Meal and the chicken nuggets can be used to play mini games with the McPlay app. All you have to do is scan the toy using a smartphone camera and an exclusive new game will be playable on the app. This brings a whole new meaning to a “Happy Meal.”
This promotion is also another way for Nintendo 3DS players to get the mythical mischief Pokemon Hoopa in the United States. This particular Pokemon is compatible with Pokemon X, Pokemon Y, Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Pokemon Omega Ruby.
According to iDigitalTimes, Hoopa starts at a level 50 with the Magician ability. His moves include Psychic, Astonish, Hyperspace Hole and Nasty Plot.
The Pokemon Happy Meal toys and cards will be available from Nov. 27, 2015 up until Dec. 23, 2015.
