George Clooney's 'Ocean's Eleven' Reboot Is All About The Women, Gary Ross Set To Direct Film

George Clooney’s “Ocean’s Eleven” is changing it’s whole dynamic with his new role as producer.

The “Ocean’s Eleven” film was already a big success and the two films that succeeded it followed in suit. However, since the Ocean’s Trilogy was completed back in 2007, there was no news on whether the franchise was going to continue.

George Clooney’s “Ocean’s Eleven” reboot is going to be a female-centric film, according to IGN, and will star Sandra Bullock. It is reportedly going to be all about girl power with a new team full of thieves.

This film doesn’t look like a rumor any longer as The Playlist reported Gary Ross, director of “The Hunger Games,” “Pleasantville” and “Seabiscuit,” is already signed on to direct the all-female production.

The plot details of George Clooney’s “Ocean’s Eleven” reboot is kept heavily under wraps. Even the other actresses who will star alongside Bullock are still a total mystery.

Whether the new film will be tied to the original Ocean’s Trilogy is unknown, however, George Clooney may make a cameo as Danny Ocean apart from taking on producer duties.

“Ocean’s Eleven” was originally a heist film that was made back in 1960. It starred Peter Lawford, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Joey Bishop and Frank Sinatra.

Much like the 2001 version of the film, it followed a series of Las Vegas casino robberies.

The release date of the film has not yet been announced, but the film is reportedly expected to be director Gary Ross’ next production after finishing “The Free State Of Jones” starring Matthew McConaughey.
