According to TVGuide.com, the official synopsis for "Empire" season 2, episode 6, titled "A High Hope for a Low Heaven" reads, "Lucious and Cookie put aside their differences for the sake of their family who need them to work together to stay out of danger; Jamal does his best to get back in the studio and break away from the "gay artist" label; and Hakeem struggles with how to feel and act like a man."
