Cody Simpson Making A Move After Gigi Hadid And Joe Jonas Split? Aussie Singer Wants Ex Back?

Cody Simpson has reportedly started to make a move as Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas announced their split.

As reported by Hollywood Life, the Australian singer purportedly was celebrating the end of the Hadid-Jonas dating days.

"One person who is ecstatic about the break up is Cody," an insider told the source above.

With the DNCE singer out of the picture, the Australian singer also reportedly was confident to get his girl back.

"He was cool publicly about Joe moving in so quickly after he and Gigi split, but behind the scenes he was livid," the insider explained. "He is not a fan of Joe at all, and still sees himself getting back with Gigi. He definitely thinks they will reunite now that Joe is out of the picture."

Back in July, Cody Simpson said he didn't mind that Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas dated.

"It's all cool, like we have all mutual friends and stuff in New York," he pointed out to E! Online. "I'm cool about it."

"I'm sort of impartial to the whole thing and try to remain nice to everyone and not cause any bad blood or anything," he added when asked what he would do if they all encounter each other in one place.

But while rumors circulated that the Australian singer wanted his "Victoria's Secret" model ex-girlfriend back, he was seen with a brunette on Wednesday as told by Mail Online. The pair were seen leaving a Los Angeles nightclub. They were also spotted leaning into each other as they giggled away from the swarm of photographers.

Cody Simpson and Gigi Hadid broke up just last May as they wanted to focus on both their booming careers. As the new "Victoria's Secret" model ended her recent relationship with Joe Jonas, it was also mentioned that their careers were the reason.

"Joe and Gigi's relationship recently ended," a source told People magazine. "Nothing serious happened... it wasn't a dramatic break up. It was just hard to make it work with their schedules. They will definitely remain friends."
