Elizabeth Olsen Without Tom Hiddleston At The Savannah Film Festival, Romance Fizzles?

Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Hiddleston seemed attached on the hip in the past months as they promoted their film, "I Saw The Light." But during the screening of the Hank Williams biopic a few days ago at the Savannah Film Festival in Georgia, the Audrey Sheppard actress was on solo flight.

The onscreen pair attended a Nashville premiere for the film just three weeks ago still showing off their "sweet chemistry" as reported by Pop Sugar. But as their onscreen romance fizzled, it seemed there was no hope as well for real life. Back in September, Olsen said they're just friends.

"No," she told Refinery 29 when asked if she was dating the British actor. "I mean, people can think what they want to think."

As reported by Just Jared, the actress participated in interviews and panel presentation without his onscreen love. Amid the promotion for the biopic, she was even asked who she liked better between portraying Scarlet Witch and Audrey Sheppard.

"Acting like a witch with a lot of powers in really difficult," she told Comicbook. "In a film like [I Saw The Light], reaching from your own experiences, real experiences, experiences that you know that happened... A world that you know which is Earth without super heroes. You have a lot more to hold onto in this movie."

It was not clear why Tom Hiddleston did not participate in the festival. But director Marc Abraham joined Elizabeth Olsen as they did press work for the movie. Days after the closing ceremonies for the Savannah Film Festival though, the Hank Williams actor published a story on The Independent about his humanitarian trip in South Sudan earlier this year.

"Children, whether those journeying as refugees through Europe or living in conflicts like South Sudan, deserve a chance of a childhood," he wrote on the piece to show his support for UNICEF UK's campaign to protect children caught in conflicts.

Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Hiddleston's movie "I Saw The Light" will hit theaters in 2016.
