20th Century Fox Theme Park Is Set To Open in 2018 , Ubisoft and Fox Theme Parks To Be Rivals

20th Century Fox theme park opening in Dubai is set.

The 20th Century Fox theme park in Dubai is set for 2018. However, that isn’t the only amusement park to look forward to, according to IGN, there is already a second Fox theme park already under construction in Malaysia. Al Ahli Holding Group’s (AAHG) deal reportedly allows for up to three more Fox resorts in areas outside of Dubai.

For those who don’t know, the Al Ahli Holding Group is a Dubai-based real estate developer that also has a live entertainment division under their company.

"Fox World will be a world-class destination that will help fuel Dubai’s emergence as a global tourism destination,” said President of 20th Century Fox Consumer Products Jeffrey Godsick in a statement on Hollywood Reporter.

The 20th Century Fox theme park will have rides and attractions based on Fox properties such as “Ice Age,” “Rio,” “Planet Of The Apes,” “Night At The Museum,” “Titanic,” “Sons Of Anarchy” and “The Simpsons.”

While the franchises included in the park already have familiar stories, the company will be telling new stories with the rides and attractions.

The park will also be featuring shops; restaurants and even a themed resort hotel based on Fox properties.

20th Century Fox isn’t the only company that will be venturing into the amusement park business. A couple of months ago Ubisoft announced that it would be opening a theme park in Malaysia in 2020. While Fox is all about films, Ubisoft is all about its successful video game franchises. It looks like these two companies will be stiff rivals once both park open.
