Solid Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower fans have vented their frustrations about the new "Mortal Instruments" TV reboot as well as rumors of their breakup.
As seen on Twitter, some fans have been wondering whether Collins and Bower have called it quits again since reuniting in May. It was only last month when rumors circulated about the couple. According to SugarScape, the speculation was formed after the "Love, Rosie" star posted some cryptic messages about love. The pair hasn't been spotted together as well lately.
Collins has been spotted lately in Los Angeles as reported by Mail Online. Bower, on the other hand, has been touring to share and promote his music.
As reported by Book Stacked back in April, fans have expressed excitement upon learning about the "Mortal Instruments" TV reboot that has been titled "Shadowhunters." But after the release of its trailer with Katherine McNamara and Dominic Sherwood replacing the Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower, some fans were disappointed and described it as "ridiculous." Others though were open to the idea and giving the TV reboot a chance even though their idols were not included.
The "Love, Rosie" actress, meanwhile, has said in January that she was surprised but supportive with the TV reboot.
"I found out about the TV series the same day the world did," she told MTV. "I know nothing."
"I'm supportive of whatever choices they're making this point forward with the project," she added.
Fans have been anticipating the sequel to the "City of Bones" since it hit theaters in 2013. But even Bower himself was not sure back then about a follow-up to the movie.
"We hadn't been green lit for number two by the time we were finishing number one," Bower told Collider back then. "I mean, there were rumors."
"I'm very much of the mindset that until I'm on set and until I'm saying the words, the job isn't happening," he added. "It's not real, because that's how this industry is, the whole time."
Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower fell for each other while doing "Mortal Instruments" in 2012, according to Hollywood Life.
