Zooey Deschanel revealed her baby Elsie Otter's Halloween costumes on Twitter, but that doesn't mean that her husband was on board with it. As it turns out, the Halloween costume for the baby might have been quickly thrown together by Zooey.

According to her Twitter, the actress gave hints towards her baby's Halloween costume. She wrote, "Q. If you dress your baby in a black turtleneck is she dressed as a.)Audrey Hepburn b.)Steve Jobs or c.)Andy Warhol?"

Looks like Elsie Otter didn't get the sweet Halloween costume that she deserves!

At least the baby will have her unique name to draw Halloween costume inspirations from for the rest of her life. When Zooey Deschanel, who set up a mini life in Texas to ensure the privacy of her baby, revealed her first baby's name, everyone was perplexed by her decision to name after an animal.

According to E! Online, the 35-year-old actress told NBC's Today Tuesday that her baby name is Elsie Otter Pechenik.

Why? She answered, "Well, we just really like the name Elsie, and then we both love otters. They're really sweet, they're also smart, they use tools to keep their favorite tools, they hold hands while they sleep. There's so many amazing things about otters. They're wonderful animals."

With her newest movie "Rock the Kasbah" underperforming in cinemas right now. Zooey Deschanel might not have been in the right headspace to churn up ideas for Halloween costumes for her baby.

The movie has only gotten 8% on Rotten Tomatoes. That gotta hurt.

The dismal rating meant that Zooey Deschanel has to work her other means to make sure that the movie isn't a completely flop. So that could be the reason that she decided to release the name of her baby girl, which actually shocked everyone.

Let's hope that this baby name wasn't totally in vain.
