'Digimon World: Next Order' PS Vita Game Gets More Gameplay Screenshots [PHOTOS]

The official website for the upcoming "Digimon World: Next Order" PS Vita game recently revealed four new screenshots of gameplay. The new screenshots (pictured above) depict both daytime and nighttime activity with the digimon and depictions of both protagonists.

Bandai Namco Entertainment is producing "Digimon World Next Order." The company is responsible for many other anime video game adaptations including "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" and the most current "Digimon" themed game, "Digimon Story Cybersleuth."

Anime News Network describes the story of "Digimon World Next Order" as follows

The game follows Takuto, who is a senior high school student who has loved Digimon since he was young. In fifth grade, he was the runner up of a Japanese Digimon game tournament. Agumon and Gabumon will be his partner Digimon.

"Digimon World: Next Order" is set to be released in Japan some time in 2016. "Digimon Story Cybersleuth" will be released in North and South America in 2016 as well.

For those less patient, "Digimon Adventure Tri" is set to be released as a six-part film series beginning with "Reunion" on Nov. 21. The first film will also screen in limited theaters in Japan on the same day. The new "Digimon Adventure Tri" series was created in celebration of the 15 year anniversary since the original "Digimon Adventure Tri" series.
