For avid "Pokemon" fans, a 2016 release date for "Pokemon Z" is turning out be quite a long wait.
Followers of the highly-popular gaming franchise should however not lose their enthusiasm and stay tuned to the latest updates such as the latest incarnation of Mewtwo which is rumored to be included in "Pokemon Z," according to Christian Today.
"Dark Mewto" is expected to be the latest transformation of Mewtwo whose images started to appear online a several weeks ago.
Mewtwo is among the well-loved "Pokemon" characters which are anticipated to find their way to "Pokemon Z" whose release date has still been kept under wraps.
Long-time "Pokemon" fans will recall that Mewtwo made its maiden appearance in Nintendo's best-selling games "Pokemon Red" and "Pokemon Blue."
Since then, Mewtwo has gone through two major mega evolutions which have been featured in the "Pokemon X" and "Pokemon Y" games.
In the meantime, there are also speculations that the legendary "Pokemon" Zygarde will "fuse" with two other characters and become part of the "Pokemon Z" Universe whose release date still has to be announced, reported PC Advisor.
It is believed that since Zygarde hasn't come face to face with Xerneas and Yveltal in "Pokemon X" and "Pokemon Y," the legendary "Pokemon" still hasn't reached its final form.
"It's thought that it will fuse with the other two Legendary Pokémon as part of Pokémon Z, and that's why it has red cells on its left wing and blue on its right wing," PC Advisor said.
Meanwhile, "Pokemon" fans should watch out for the Nov. 14 release of CoroCoro magazine, which features, among others, "Pokemon" main director Junichi Mashuda, according to iDigitalTimes.
There have been rumors that the magazine's feature on Mashuda together with his latest Twitter posts could provide could concrete updates on "Pokemon Z ".
Although the "Pokemon" executive's appearance on the "Pokemon Get TV" show may not necessarily lead to an official announcement, his guesting is considered to be more than "coincidental," and may eventually lead to the announcement of the official release date of "Pokemon Z."
